Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the HOPE Engineering Scholarship are as follows:
- Only girl students from anywhere in India who are studying in the first year of engineering in any UGC or state-recognised college.
- Preference is always given to those girls who are disabled because they need more help.
- The girl must have got a minimum of 60% marks in Class 12 Science, but for disabled girls, only 40% marks are enough.
- More chance is given if she is studying in branches like Computer Science, IT, Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Production, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or Automobile.
- Her family income must not be more than Rs. 5,00,000 in one year, or else she can’t apply.
